London Stansted and Luton — Ryanair fare from £15 one-way on sale, £29 typical. Manchester and Liverpool are £25–£35. Heathrow Aer Lingus is premium at £55+. Belfast (BHD) to Dublin is just £25, often with connecting trains cheaper overall.
Direct flights take 1h 20m–1h 30m airport-to-airport. Total door-to-door is about 3h 15m with check-in, transfers and the Dublin airport bus. Manchester and Liverpool departures are 45m–55m in the air.
Under the Common Travel Area UK citizens can travel to Ireland with just photo ID — no passport required by immigration. But airlines require photo ID and usually insist on passport or driving licence. Carry a passport to be safe — it's also needed for boarding if EU ID checks tighten.
Dublin Airport (DUB) is 10km north. Aircoach to O'Connell Street and Westmoreland runs every 15 minutes, €8 single, 30 minutes. Dublin Bus 16/41 is €3.30. Taxi is €25–€35 in 20–30 minutes.
