CDG is the main international hub — RER B to Gare du Nord in 35m, €11.80. Orly (ORY) is 14km south — Orlyval + RER B in 35m, €14.50, closer to the Latin Quarter. Beauvais (BVA) is 85km north — Ryanair-only, shuttle bus 1h 15m, €16.
Paris uses the euro (EUR, €). Cards are accepted almost everywhere including taxis, kiosks and the Metro. Use a fee-free debit card (Chase UK, Starling, Monzo) to avoid £1.50–£3.00 per-transaction charges. Carry €50 cash for tips, bakeries and small cafés.
