Direct flights take 2h airport-to-airport. Manchester and Edinburgh add 20–30 minutes. Milan has three airports: Malpensa (MXP) 50km NW, Linate (LIN) 7km east of centre, Bergamo (BGY) 45km NE. Linate is by far the most convenient for short trips.
