Jersey Airport (JER)
Jersey Airport (JER) is the main gateway to Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands and a British Crown Dependency located off the Normandy coast of France. The airport handles approximately 1.6 million passengers per year and is situated in the St Peter parish on the western side of the island, around 3 miles from St Helier, the capital.
easyJet is the largest carrier, operating high-frequency routes to London Gatwick, London Stansted, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Newcastle. BA CityFlyer provides Heathrow and Gatwick connections serving business travellers. Aurigny and Blue Islands connect Jersey to the neighbouring island of Guernsey and to regional UK airports including Southampton and Exeter.
Jersey's status as a Crown Dependency outside the UK VAT area makes it a duty-free destination. The island attracts around 700,000 visitors per year for its beaches, mild climate, seafood, Liberation Day history (9 May) and financial services sector. Summer (May–September) is peak season with the warmest weather in the British Isles.

Jersey Airport FAQs
Jersey is a British Crown Dependency — not part of the UK or EU. British citizens can travel within the Common Travel Area without border control, but airlines require valid photo ID and a passport is strongly recommended. Non-British nationals must carry a valid passport. Jersey sets its own VAT and import duty rates so be aware of customs allowances when returning to the UK.
