Direct Thai Airways LHR-BKK takes 11h 20m eastbound, 12h 15m return. 1-stop via Doha/Dubai/Istanbul adds 3-4 hours but costs £200-300 less. BA suspended direct flights in 2020 so Thai is currently the only direct UK option.
