Isle of Man Airport (IOM)
Isle of Man Airport (IOM), known officially as Ronaldsway Airport, is located 7 miles south-west of Douglas and handles approximately 800,000 passengers per year. As the only commercial airport on the island, it is the primary air gateway to this British Crown Dependency in the Irish Sea.
easyJet is the dominant carrier, offering flights to London Gatwick, London Stansted, Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester and Belfast. BA CityFlyer provides business-focused connections to London Heathrow and London City, while Loganair connects the island to Glasgow, Dublin and Blackpool. The combination gives excellent UK mainland and Irish Republic coverage.
The airport sees a dramatic annual travel spike during the Isle of Man TT races in May — one of the world's oldest and most famous motorsport events. Flights book up 6–12 months in advance during TT fortnight. The island's thriving gaming, eGaming and fintech sectors generate strong year-round business travel demand, particularly on London routes.
